[Brussels, 16 Feb 2026] — EIASM announces a leadership transition within its executive management and governance.

After seven and a half years of leadership, Prof. Jérôme Chabanne-Rive has stepped down as Executive Director. The Board of EIASM wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Concomitantly, the President of EIASM, Prof. Nuran Acur (University of Glasgow) has stepped down from her role. The Board extends its sincere thanks for her leadership, dedication, and service to EIASM. Prof. Stefano Zambon (University of Ferrara) has been appointed Acting President. He has assumed presidential responsibilities on an interim basis, ensuring continuity of governance and supporting the Institute through this transition.
